Scale Car Models
...all things are full of labor; man cannot express it. The eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing...

As a professional model-maker for Hobby, Toy and Industrial Design industries I have been around scale car models for more than a decade now.
The number of scale car models/bodies made in different scales and for different purposes would easily reach into hundred plus by now.

Making a scale car models was one area of my life where I truly felt like seasoned professional while doing it; comfortable and with utmost peace in my heart.
| I wanted to apply ALL the knowledge of my professional past into thing of my own and to make one-of-a-kind museum quality 1:14 scale car models in most unique hardwoods of the world. There was a dream to make hundreds of these - 2.9 Mile Miglia, Atlantic Coupe, 540K, Monza, Royale, Audi RSQ, Minority Report Lexus, all the Ferraris and... so much more. However, life is too short to do it all...

Sadly, this area of my professional model makers life, slowly is closing down. Life is too short to do it all. Below is my best example of 1:14 scale Bugatti Veyron in African Blackwood and Ceylon Satinwood. Model is coated with sanding sealer and left unfinished...due to time I still need to wait until retirement...when I surely will get it done.

Available for commission
Price: $15,000 based on 750-800 hours of work.

Materials: Main woods: African Blackwood and Ceylon Satinwood. Secondary woods: American Mesquite, Nigerian Ebony. Other: Moose Antler and Baltic Amber.
Comments: There is nothing shiny about this model as of now; it is coated with sanding sealer and left unfinished. 400 hours spent this far - 350-400 are still needed. Additional time needs to be spent on: have to make base, remake hood, make chassis to cover bottom, make front and back lights, carve mirrors and windshield washers, door handles, gas cups and other fancy stuff. Most of the time usually is spent on detail work anyway. All parts made are handcrafted by me personally and are one-of-a-kind models, made on mill, lathe and carved by hands.
